Man taken to hospital, road closed after trailer and pickup truck collide at Bedok North

A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital after the trailer he was driving toppled over following an accident with a pickup truck along Bedok North Street 1 towards Bedok North Avenue 3 on Tuesday afternoon (Mar 2).

Stompers Rohaizat and Yan alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and a video of what happened.

In a video taken by Yan, the road is blocked and the trailer is seen lying on its side.

A crane is seen lifting the vehicle to make it upright.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 12.07pm.

"The driver of the trailer, a 27-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
