A 36-year-old man was found dead at Block 53 Commonwealth Drive on March 24.

Stomper Desmond said he heard a loud boom in the afternoon and initially "thought it was from nearby construction".

He added: "I heard from a cleaner that a person had fallen from level 25."

Based on photos submitted by Demsond, the victim appeared to have fallen through the roof of a sheltered walkway.

Blood can be seen on the roof, whose panels had gotten dislodged from the impact.

A police tent can also be spotted at the scene, which had been cordoned off.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the block at about 1.45pm.

The man was found lying motionless and pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

Police investigations are ongoing.
