Man arrested for multiple cases of sexual exposure on public transport since April

A 22-year-old man has been arrested for suspected involvement in multiple sexual exposure cases on public transport, said police.

The police had received multiple reports of sexual exposure incidents on public transport between April and July this year.

Through follow-up investigations, officers from Woodlands Police Division and the Public Transport Security Command established the identity of the man and arrested him on Tuesday (July 12).

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man is believed to be involved in at least four other cases of sexual exposure on public transport.

He is to be charged in court on Thursday (July 14) with sexual exposure, which carries an imprisonment term of up to one year, a fine or both.
