Man and woman taken to hospital after 3-vehicle accident at Esplanade Drive

A man and woman were taken to hospital after they were involved in a three-vehicle accident along Esplanade Drive towards Collyer Quay on Tuesday morning (June 4).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos where personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) are seen hosing down a section of the road.

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said they were alerted to the accident involving two cars and a van at 10.47am.

"Two passengers from one of the cars, a 34-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, were conscious when conveyed to Raffles Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
