Man, 44, arrested for drug-related offences after Mitsubishi hits two other cars on BKE

A 44-year-old driver was arrested for suspected drug-related offences after an accident involving three cars on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands on Jan 1.

Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was shared on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

In the video, a red Mitsubishi is seen swerving and hitting a barrier before ricocheting and hitting two other cars on the expressway.

The three cars are sent skidding and the front of one of the cars is badly damaged.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 12.55pm.

"A 44-year-old man was subsequently arrested for suspected drug-related offences," a police spokesperson said. 

Investigations are ongoing.
