Male masseur, 60, allegedly molested woman at People's Park Complex massage parlour

A 60-year-old male masseur will be charged in court on Monday (Jan 30) for allegedly molesting a woman in a massage parlour at People's Park Complex.

The police said they received a report about the incident at at 1 Park Road on Friday, at around 1.26pm.

Through follow-up investigations, officers from Central Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him on Saturday.

If convicted for outrage of modesty, the man face up to three years in jail and/or a fine and/or caning.

The police said they have zero tolerance towards sexual offenders who threaten the safety of those in the community, adding: "Offenders will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.

"The police would also like to urge members of the public to remain vigilant and to report the matter to the police immediately if they witness an incident of outrage of modesty, or are aware of someone being a victim of outrage of modesty."
