Lorry carrying heavy vehicle crashes into overhead traffic light along Tampines Link

A lorry transporting a heavy vehicle crashed into and broke an overhead traffic light along Tampines Link on Tuesday morning (Apr 9).

Stomper Azlan alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video showing what happened.

In the video, the arm of the heavy vehicle hits the overhead traffic light, causing it to break to pieces and fall to the road.

"The lorry driver was oblivious that his load was too tall and hit the traffic light," said Azlan.

"He already hit the previous traffic light but this time, he bo bian had to stop because the whole light fell.

"I'm sure he didn't know he hit the previous light cause it was still dangling."
