Driver has near-accident with lorry going against traffic at Tomlinson Road

A motorist had a close shave with a lorry that was going against the flow of traffic at Orchard Road on Tuesday evening (Nov 23).

Facebook page SG Road Vigilante uploaded a video of the incident that occurred along Tomlinson Road at around 6.30pm.

In the video, a motorist can be seen narrowly avoiding a collision with a lorry whose driver was travelling in the opposite direction .

The motorist is heard honking while the lorry does not stop at all.

The motorist said it was lucky that he had been driving slowly due to the pedestrian crossing, or an accident would have happened.

Many netizens agreed that he was indeed fortunate and encouraged him to report the incident to the authorities.
