Woman solves mystery of who's been sneaking into her home -- to hug her dog

Hollie Breaux Mallet got a pleasant surprise when she checked her home security camera one day.

Upon watching recent footage, she discovered that a young boy had been sneaking in and out of her garage.

But instead of stealing anything, the boy comes in to give her dog, Duchess, a big hug, then hurriedly flees the scene as if he is being chased by police for committing a crime.

In order to find out who the boy was, she posted the video to Facebook and wrote to her neighbors:

"Anyone know who this sweet little boy is? I'd like to tell him he's welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!"

The boy's mother happened to see the video and quickly responded back to Hollie's post.

Apparently, her son, Josh, was still missing their family dog who had passed away the year before.

According to the mother, he was extremely embarrassed that he was caught on film, but admitted with a smile, "You know I love dogs, Momma."

After getting Hollie's permission, he immediately went back to play with Duchess and even shared some selfies of their now public relationship.
