Car skids and crashes through road divider railing in Bukit Panjang, 60-year-old man taken to hospital

A car skidded and crashed through the railing to end up partially in the drain along the road divider in Bukit Panjang in the wee hours of Dec 16.

Sharing photos of the white vehicle tilted on its right side, a Stomper called it a "terrible" accident.

"The car went inside the longkang," said the Stomper.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at 1.45am to an accident involving a car that was believed to have self-skidded along Bukit Panjang Ring Road towards Jelebu Road.

The 60-year-old male car driver was conscious when taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
