Car driver taken to hospital after accident with minibus at Edgefield Plains

A 31-year-old driver was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a minibus at the junction of Edgefield Plains and Punggol Central on Saturday morning (Jan 5).

Stompers An, Toni, and Ryan shared photos taken from the scene showing the red car and the minibus.

In the photos, the front of the red car is crushed and motor fluid is on the road.

The minibus appears to have knocked down a traffic light.

In response to a Stomp media query, a police spokesman said they were alerted to the accident at about 9.31am.

The car driver, a 31-year-old man was conscious when taken to Sengkang General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
