Car driver taken to hospital after accident with lorry at Pasir Ris junction

A 56-year-old driver was taken to hospital after his car got into an accident with a lorry in Pasir Ris on Nov 21.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Pasir Ris Central and Pasir Ris Drive 1 at 4.35pm.

The car driver was conscious when taken to hospital.

Stomper Mohamed Elkhouly shared photos and a video showing both vehicles at the accident site, in front of White Sands shopping mall.

The red car can be seen with a badly damaged front bumper and debris strewn all over the road.

Traffic police and an ambulance were also at the scene.
