Audi driver, 27, arrested for drink driving after accident with van at Toa Payoh

A 27-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink driving after an accident involving his Audi and a van along Lorong 8 Toa Payoh on Sept 23.

Stomper Wei Sien alerted Stomp to the incident and shared video clips showing a white Audi.

The front of the car was badly damaged and it appears the vehicle had crashed through the central divider railing.

"I witnessed one vehicle hit the railings near Block 211 Lorong 8 Toa Payoh," he said.

"I called and reported this to the police."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.15am.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
