66-year-old cabby taken to hospital after accident with car at Ghim Moh Link junction

A 66-year-old male taxi driver was taken to hospital after an accident involving a car and a taxi on Tuesday (Sep 8).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the accident that occurred at the junction of Ghim Moh Link and Commonwealth Avenue West and sent a circulated photo of what happened.

Photos of the accident also made its rounds on social media after it was posted on the Singapore Roads Accident Facebook page.

 
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 11.14pm.

"The 66-year-old male taxi driver was conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
