5-year-old boy taken to hospital after car crashes into Bishan preschool door, driver arrested

A five-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a car crashed into the glass door of Maple Bear Preschool at Midview City on Monday morning (June 12).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance to an accident involving a car at 20 Sin Ming Lane at 10.33am.

"The 62-year-old male driver was arrested for negligent act causing hurt," police added.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the boy had been sitting very close to the glass door when the incident took place. He was reportedly not injured and was sent to the hospital for examination.

When a journalist visited the scene, the glass door was already repaired.

A notice had also been put up for guardians and motorists.
