4 taken to hospital after car and taxi get into accident at Central Boulevard junction

Four people were taken to hospital after an accident involving a car and a taxi at the junction of Central Boulevard and Sheares Avenue on Tuesday afternoon (July 5).

Stomper Jeanifer shared a video showing a black car with a damaged front bumper, a Trans-Cab taxi and two ambulances at the scene.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 3.06pm.

A 24-year-old car passenger and three passengers from the taxi, aged between 27 and 30, were conscious when taken to hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
