24-year-old motorcyclist taken to hospital after accident with car on PIE

A 24-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after getting into an accident with a car along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Thursday morning (July 25).

Stomper Lim contributed a video that shows a man sitting on the road.

The motorcycle can be seen lying on its side while the car was stopped by the roadside.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the collision, which occurred towards Changi Airport and before the Upper Serangoon Road exit, at 9.17am.

The male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Raffles Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
