Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving a motorcycle, a van and two lorries along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas on Friday afternoon (May 10).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the four-vehicle accident at 1.48pm.

A 39-year-old male motorcyclist, a 68-year-old lorry driver and his 45-year-old passenger were all conscious when taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Stomper Tony Ku was at the scene at around 2pm and contributed photos.

The van can be seen in between both lorries, one of which had its front bumper mangled.

Police investigations are ongoing.
