2 men against 1 as another tries to stop fight at Clarke Quay MRT station, blocking escalator

They kept slapping each other.

Three men were caught on camera fighting at Clarke Quay MRT station as another man tried in vain to stop them.

A Stomper shared a video of the incident at the escalator landing near the exit to Clarke Quay Central mall on Jan 7 at 7.22pm.

A man in a yellow shirt and a man in a black shirt can be seen fighting a man in a grey shirt.

A man in a checked shirt attempted to separate the brawling trio, but they kept going at each other.

Passers-by stopped and stared as they couldn't get to the escalator because of the altercation.

It was only when a woman and another man stepped in to drag the grey-shirt man away that the fight stopped.

"After I took the video, they all ran away," said the Stomper.

"I wanted to call the police, but it happened very fast."

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and said investigations are ongoing.
