At least $30,600 has been lost to bank phishing scams using social media advertisements since last month.
Police said at least 27 reports were lodged.
Scammers would typically put up enticing promos to attract victims, who would click on the ads and be directed to a phishing site created by the scammers.
Victims would then be prompted to key in their banking credentials and submit their One-Time Password (OTP) information.
They would realise that they had been scammed when they discover unauthorised transactions made from their bank accounts.
