Stomper Aram Pan filmed a time-lapse video of Pyongyang's sunset and sunrise from May 26 to May 27, from a hotel window.

Aram Pan said he did it because he thought that it was a good idea.

He said: "I filmed for about 12 hours, from a hotel called 'Yanggakdo'.

"I just left the camera there on a tripod and programmed it to take a photo every 30 seconds. It was quite easy.

"The North Korean tour guide told me that their country shuts down the power of many areas after midnight, unlike Singapore where there will still be some light.

"Even the street lights are turned off to conserve energy."
