A group of youths were caught on video riding their e-scooters on a road despite personal mobility devices (PMDs) not being allowed on roads.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video that was posted on one of the girl's Instagram Stories.

It has since expired but the video has been circulating on social media.

Facebook user Natalie Chua posted the video on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook group page and said it happened on Dec 12, 2019 at about 3.53am.

She wrote: "Siao lang ginas riding e-scooter on the road and openly post on her Instagram Story."

Under the Active Mobility Act, PMDs are only allowed on cycling and shared paths.

Those caught flouting the rules can be fined up to $2,000 and/or jailed for up to three months if convicted.
