Netizen calls ambulance after seeing uncle in a pool of blood at North Bridge Road Market

A netizen called for an ambulance after a man fell from a chair at North Bridge Road Market today (Sep 7) at around 2.15am.

A photo of the man was posted in a closed Facebook group by the netizen.

Stomper Ah Boy, who is a member of the group, came across the post at 6.42am and sent Stomp screenshots of what he saw.

In the photo, the man, who looked to be quite elderly, can be seen lying faced down on the floor of the market.

The was a pool of blood near his face.

In the comments section of the photo he posted on Facebook, the netizen said that the man then came to and was sent to hospital.

Said a spokesman from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) with regard to what happened:

"SCDF received a call for ambulance assistance at 861 North Bridge Road at around 2.15am.

"SCDF dispatched one ambulance to the scene.

"A person was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital."
