Motorcyclist lies on road after accident with taxi along Bukit Batok East Ave 2

An accident involving a motorcycle and a taxi occurred along Bukit Batok East Avenue 2, near Hillview Regency Condominium, at around 9.40am this morning (March 31).

A Stomper, who was at the scene, contributed videos showing a motorcyclist lying on the road.

The victim, a 23-year-old male, was moving and can be seen trying to get up, while his bike lay on its side some distance away.

He was conscious when taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital with minor injuries.

The Stomper said: "The biker rammed into the taxi from behind and a loud noise was heard.

"He landed very far away from his bike and was later taken away in an ambulance."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which took place along Bukit Batok East Avenue 2 towards Bukit Batok Central, at 9.45am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that it was alerted to the accident at around 9.50am.

Police investigations are ongoing.
