A motorcycle burst into flames at a carpark near Block 651A Jurong West Street 61 on Saturday afternoon (Dec 28).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared videos she took of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers extinguishing the fire.

"There were two rounds of explosions and the bike was in flames," she said.

"Two fire engines arrived at the scene within minutes.

"They were followed by three police cars."

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said they responded to the fire at about 1.35pm.

"The fire, which involved a motorcycle, was extinguished by SCDF using a compressed air foam backpack and a water jet."

There were no reported injuries and the cause of fire is under investigation.
