Cyclist tries to unlock Ofo bike near AMK MRT Station -- but ends up making startling discovery

Stomper KN was trying to unlock an Ofo bike at a Housing Development Board block near Ang Mo Kio MRT Station this morning (Sep 28) at around 12am when he made a startling discovery.

In a telephone interview, he said that the rear wheel of the bicycle had been secured with two cable ties.

The lock that was installed on the bicycle had been tampered with and was not functional.

The Ofo bike was placed beside a flight of stairs at the void deck instead of the designated bicycle bays where it would have been more obvious to users. 

This is the first time the Stomper has come across something like this.
