Check out scooter rider's ingenious way of staving off the heat and rain

On a rainy day, many motorcyclists are forced to seek shelter and wait out the storm.

However, one rider has come up with his own solution to stave off the rain and glaring heat of the sun.

Stomper Khai was travelling along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 yesterday (Feb 26) when he spotted this ingenious rider.

"He was using a self-made overhead protector," he said.

"It's creative but I don't know how safe is this thing.

"If let's say a strong gust of wind came along, would it come off and endanger other motorists?
