A silver car flipped onto its side on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards Tuas on Saturday at around 2.24am.

Stomper KS Fong, who was driving past, saw the vehicle and stopped to help.

According to KS, another motorist was already at the scene before him, and the driver had crawled out of the flipped car himself.

Said KS:

“The driver was uninjured but was in shock.

“His face was pale.

“I asked him if he drank before that, but he told me he didn’t.

“There wasn’t any smell of alcohol either.

"Thank goodness he buckled up."

KS and the other motorists accompanied the driver until an ambulance arrived at around 3.46am, before driving off.

In response to a Stomp query, a police spokesman said:

“On 18 November, 2017, at 2.27am, the Police were alerted to an accident involving a car along AYE towards Tuas. No injuries were reported. Police investigations are ongoing.”
