Bus driver taken to hospital after mounting central divider and crashing into barrier at AMK

A bus driver was taken to hospital after crashing into a central road divider after mounting it along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 on Friday (May 4).

Stomper Liyana shared a photo of the incident with Stomp shortly after the bus had mounted the divider.

In the photo, the barrier along the divider was mangled.

In response to Stomp's media queries, the police said that they were alerted to an accident involving a bus along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 towards Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 at 12.20pm.

"The bus driver, a 51-year-old man was unconscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital," he said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
