Instead of fish, fists were on the menu on Thursday night (Feb 23) when a huge brawl involving 40 people broke out at a seafood restaurant in New York City.
Videos of a fight that erupted at Seafood City, on City Island, have been posted on social media showing a large group of men brandishing fists and hurling chairs at each other.
It is unclear what caused the fight, but the restaurant’s management said that alcohol might have been a factor, according to Daily Mail.
Frustrated residents on City Island told the New York Daily News that the brawl was the latest in a string of incidents brought about due to insufficient security at larger restaurants around the island.
The employees at the restaurant did not file a police report.
