Woman bugged to find insect on her plate just as she was about to finish eating at Thai restaurant

A woman was just about to finish her meal at a Thai restaurant -- only to find a dead insect on her plate.

Stomper Lynn said she visited Sanook Kitchen at Suntec City for dinner last Thursday evening (May 13) when the incident occurred.

Lynn recounted: "I ordered kang kong with rice. When I was about to finish my food, I saw an insect on my plate.

"I asked the staff and they said that the insect could have come from the kang kong."

Lynn was subsequently given a refund, but had already lost her appetite.

She added: "I still had food left but I couldn't eat much anymore."
