Driver 'messes up' and holds up traffic after making abrupt lane change along Bencoolen Street

A driver caused a traffic jam after getting stuck while making an abrupt lane change along Bencoolen Street on Tuesday evening (Aug 30).

A Stomper witnessed what happened from a restaurant opposite Fortune Centre.

In the video he shared, he says: "Only in Singapore."

"This fellow decided to make an abrupt left turn from the right-most lane to the left-most lane, leaving a massive jam at the back," he said.

"The way he turned was pretty messed up and unsafe."

He added that the driver also failed to use his signal lights.
