Driver 'deservedly' scolded by pedestrian after near-accident at Upper Changi Road

A Porsche driver received flak after nearly colliding with a pedestrian at a zebra crossing at a filter lane from Upper Changi Road to Bedok North Road on Mar 31.

In the video, the Porsche is seen indicating seconds before making a left turn just as a man is halfway across the zebra crossing.

The pedestrian turns towards the vehicle and gestures at him.

The caption says the driver was "deservedly scolded by the pedestrian".

Some netizens said the construction barriers along the road pose a visibility issue but others said the driver should have slowed down to stop, regardless.
