7 cars and 1 van in chain collision along TPE

A chain collision involving seven cars and a van occurred along Tampines Expressway (TPE), towards Seletar Expressway (SLE), on Saturday afternoon (July 14).

Stomper Chithra came across the accident at around 4.15pm and said it occurred opposite Elias Green condominium.

A photo that she contributed shows six vehicles in one single line by the road side, while several people stood around.

In response to a Stomp query, he police said they were alerted to an accident involving seven cars and a van along TPE towards SLE, before the exit into Tampines Link, at 4.20pm.

No injuries were reported.

Police investigations are ongoing.
