Two people were sent to hospital after an accident involving four cars and one motorcycle along Woodlands Avenue 3 on Friday night (April 13).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Woodlands Avenue 3 after Woodlands Street 32, at 9.06pm.

A 32-year-old female Audi driver and a 57-year-old male motorcyclist were conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with minor injuries. They reported experiencing neck pains.

Stomper Alex was at the scene at around 10.50pm and contributed photos showing an overturned car.

He told Stomp: "I was across the road.

"There was an ambulance with flashing lights, a tow truck and a motorcycle in addition to the overturned car."

According to Lianhe Zaobao, the overturned car was a Mercedes whose driver had lost control of his vehicle.

He allegedly rammed into the other three cars and the motorcycle, then crawled out of his Mercedes and fled the scene on foot, said witnesses.

The Mercedes was eventually towed away.

Police have identified the Mercedes driver and investigations are ongoing.
