28-year-old motorcyclist "screaming in pain" after accident with car on PIE

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving his motorcycle and a car along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Christmas Eve (Dec 24).

Stomper Mira said he was riding along the PIE at around 11.25am when he encountered a traffic jam.

He then spotted the injured motorcyclist, as well as passers-by trying to help him.

Mira told Stomp: "The motorcyclist was screaming in pain."

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said that they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Changi, at 11.28am.

The motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
