2 molested while walking along pavement at Holland Avenue, man arrested

A 54-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in two cases of outrage of modesty that occurred in the vicinity of Holland Avenue.

Two victims reported on Tuesday (Aug 25) that they had been molested by an unknown man while walking along the pavement at Holland Avenue, said the police in a statement.

Through investigations and with the aid of images from CCTV, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him along Holland Avenue the following day (Aug 26), within 24 hours of the report.

The man will be charged in court on August 27 with outrage of modesty, which carries a jail term of up to two years and/or a fine and/or caning.
