Motorcycle collides with bicycle after cyclist ignores red man at Upper Serangoon Road junction

Update:

On Jan 24, another video was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page showing what happened from a different angle.

Original article:

A 27-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident involving a bicycle and his motorcycle at the junction of Serangoon Road and Upper Serangoon Road on Jan 19.

Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

In the video, the cyclist is seen crossing the road despite a red man showing.

A motorcycle then collides with the bicycle, causing both riders to fall to the ground.

While the cyclist can get to his feet, the motorcyclist is seen sitting on the road, holding his arm in pain.

The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp they were alerted to the incident at 10.05pm.

"SCDF conveyed one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," an SCDF spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
