52-year-old biker suffers head injuries in accident with lorry along Loyang Avenue

A 52-year-old man was sent to the hospital after an accident involving a motorcycle and a lorry along Loyang Avenue today morning (Dec 6).

Stomper Charlie came across the accident scene at around 8.55am and contributed photos to Stomp.

In response to media queries by Stomp, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for ambulance assistance at about 8.30am.

The victim, a male Indian, sustained head injuries and was sent to Changi General Hospital, which had been alerted to be on standby to receive him.

Police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Tampines Avenue 7, at 8.28am.

Police investigations are ongoing.
