Two Singaporean men were caught with two packets of duty-unpaid cigarettes hidden along their waistlines at Woodlands Checkpoint on July 19.
In a cheeky Facebook post titled "Looks like their efforts were “waisted", the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said officers noticed "unusual bulges" on the two young men about 8.30pm and 9pm.
The men were fined $600 each by the Singapore Customs for failing to declare and pay duty and Goods and Services Tax on the cigarettes.
