Motorcyclist pronounced dead at scene after accident with lorry on PIE

A 26-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle was involved in an accident with a lorry on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on the morning of April 24.

Videos of a blue police tent and the toppled motorcycle on the expressway were posted online.

Fatal accident at PIE happened on 24 April at about 10:15am A 26-year-old male motorcyclist died in an accident involving a lorry along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Kranji Expressway (KJE) after the Jalan Bahar exit.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident on PIE towards Kranji Expressway after Jalan Bahar exit at 10.20am.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.

Police told Stomp investigations are ongoing.
