Man, 51, arrested for walking around Zion Road naked and for suspected drug-related offences

A 51-year-old man was arrested for appearing nude in a public place and suspected drug-related offences on Wednesday afternoon (Mar 31).

Stomper Shireen alerted Stomp to the incident after spotting the man at Zion Road.

"The naked man was walking along the street," she said.

In a video shared by Shireen, the man is seen standing with his arms raised in the middle of moving traffic.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at the junction of Tiong Bahru Road and Zion Road at 3.50pm.

"A 51-year-old man was arrested for appearing nude in a public place and suspected drug-related offences," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
