Axe-wielding man smashes Merc's windscreen, police investigating mischief

The police are investigating an incident involving a man who was caught on video smashing the windscreen of a Mercedes-Benz with an axe.

Stomper J shared with Stomp a video of a white Subaru Forester stopping next to his parked vehicle on Monday (Sep 27) at about 1.02am.

The car moves off before the man appears wielding the axe and striking the Merc.

J declined to share the location of the incident.

"Other similar cases may happen again," he said.

"I just want to warn everyone to be careful.

"This crazy dude in a white Subaru Forester is going around with an axe."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of mischief at 8.21am.

Police investigations are ongoing.
