A man was left bleeding after allegedly getting beaten up by three others in Clarke Quay on Sunday night (May 1).

A video posted online shows a topless man with blood on his head and face during what appears to be a dispute with three other men in suits.

According to AsiaOne, the victim had attempted to enter the Highlander Bar and Restaurant when some men stopped him.

A witness who recorded the video said that several men in black suits, presumably employees of Highlander, then started hitting the victim.

The men punched the victim in the head, said the witness, adding that one of the men also smashed a glass object at the victim's head.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of assault at 3 River Valley Road at 11.55pm.

"Three men, aged between 39 and 48, were arrested in relation to the case," they added.

A 47-year-old man was conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

When contacted by AsiaOne, Highlander said that they are aware of the incident but are unable to comment on the situation due to ongoing police investigations.
