Ben Ellis, a teacher from Nashville was shocked to find his entire school standing outside his window one day.

According to Life Buzz, students and staff turned up to support his battle with cancer.

It was a spur of the moment event that was initiated by the Christ Presbyterian Academy's principal himself.

Together, they sang songs of worship to stand in solidarity for their beloved teacher.

The touching video shared on Facebook by singer Tim McGraw touched religious and non-religious viewers alike.
