Tree full of 'floating' caterpillars spotted near Punggol Rd

Stomper Sim was walking between blocks 622 and 619 near Punggol Road when she spotted a tree full of 'floating' caterpillars.

According to the Stomper, there were at least thirty to forty caterpillars dangling from the tree. She added that the caterpillars were only occupying one tree.

In the photos the she contributed, the yellow caterpillars can be seen being held up by something transparent, making it seem as if they were floating.

Said the Stomper:

"I was so afraid the wind would blow them onto me when I was taking the photos!"
