'Water' heck is causing this? 'Natural lakes' still showing up at Marina Bay after rain

A Stomper came across water-logged fields at Marina Bay yesterday morning (Apr 19) at around 10am.

In a WhatsApp message and telephone interview, the Stomper said he has been noticing the unusual occurrence since February.

Photos he sent show 'natural lakes' at three big fields near Marina Bay Sands.

Said the Stomper:

"This happens after it rains.

"I think the ground may not be porous enough to absorb the water.

"The fields will remain water-logged for around two weeks.

Stomp has received similar reports in the past.
