A man was seriously injured and three others were hurt in an accident on the PIE involving a car, van and motorcycle on May 10 at around 3.57pm.

Stomper Jowei came across an accident and alerted Stomp to what happened.

In a video the Stomper took, the van can be seen flipped to its right side. A woman was coming out of the van through its rear windshield.

Jowei also informed Stomp that she saw a man emerging out of the van with blood trickling down his head.

The car involved in the accident was left in the middle of the road against the flow of traffic.

Its bonnet was heavily damaged and debris was strewn all around the vehicle.

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said that among the four injured was a man in his 30s who sustained serious injuries.

Said a police spokesperson with regard to what happened:

“On 10 May 2017 at 3.55pm, the Police were alerted to an accident involving a van, a car, and a motorcycle along PIE Towards Tuas After Adam Rd Exit.

"The 21-year-old male van driver and his 3 passengers were conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital (NUH).
