G.E.M to return to S'pore in August with a love message

Chinese pop star G.E.M Tang's short but memorable performance was a smash hit with fans at ION Orchard in 2016.

Though they wanted more, the singer could not extend her performance as she wa sonly scheduled to sing three songs for an event related to the Singapore Grand Prix.

However, the fans were not entirely upset as the knew the Hong Kong celebrity would return soon, reports AsiaOne.

And their wishes will be granted on August 12 as G.E.M Tang will take to th stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with a new show, 'Queen of Hearts', which is already a fan favourite in cities across China.

The singer, whose real name is Gloria Tang, first entered the scene when she was 16, and went on to super-stardom with multiple gold and platinum-selling albums. 

Her vocal abilities and ability to easily switch between genres such as pop and R&B to rock and rap in the same show impressed both critics and fans.

She has built a formidable fanbase worldwide thanks to being able to singing in Mandarin, Cantonese as well as English.

She said in a press statement that through the theme of the show, she wishes to promote the message of love and conquering one's inner demons.

Tickets for the August concert be on sale from 10am on May 5, priced from $128 to $248. t
