Father finds metal strip in bento ordered from Punggol Waterway eatery: 'Imagine if my kids had eaten it'

Stomper David was shocked when he found a metal strip in his bento set that he had ordered for lunch on Sunday (May 14).

He had placed an order for the set from I Love Taimei at Punggol Waterway via foodpanda.

He did not realise the metal strip was in his food till he was halfway done with his meal.

"I almost ate it myself," said David.

"It's so dangerous that the food handler did not notice it, what if my kids had eaten it?

"It would stay in their bodies forever."

The concerned father has since written to the eatery regarding the metal piece and reported the incident to the National Environment Agency (NEA).
